Order Cancellation, Returns and Refund Policy

Have you received your order but aren't completely satisfied? No worries! We're happy to help. If the artwork doesn't quite fit your interior, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. After withdrawal, you have another 14 days to return the product to us.

1. Returns

Return period: You have 14 days to return an item from the date of delivery. This period is extended if the last day falls on a weekend or public holiday.

Return conditions:

  • Condition of the product: The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging (including all protective materials).
  • Return costs: The costs and risk of the return shipment are entirely at the buyer's expense. As our prints, including handmade Italian frames and acrylic glass, are fragile and large, we strongly recommend sending the return shipment by registered and insured mail via a reliable courier service (such as PostNL or DPD).
  • Diminished value: If the product is damaged, shows signs of use (such as fingerprints on the paper or scratches on the acrylic glass), or is not returned in its original packaging, we may charge the customer for this diminished value (up to 100% of the purchase amount).

Exception: Original paintings created on commission are unique, handmade works of art and are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 6:230p sub c of the Dutch Civil Code.

How does the return process work?

  1. Notify us of your return in advance by emailing info@evelinemenkeart.com, stating your order number and the reason for return. You will then receive return instructions and our return address.
  2. Pack the art print extremely carefully in the original shipping box.
  3. Affix postage and send the package to our return address. Keep your proof of postage safe.

2. Refund

When will I get my money back? Once we have received and inspected your return in its original, undamaged condition, the refund will be processed within 14 days via the original payment method.

Shipping costs: Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
